  • Are there any side effects?
You may feel some soreness and redness, this is normal just after your treatments. If this persists after a few days, speak to your GP as soon as possible.
  • How long will it last?
Depending on the area it can last between 6-18 months, but personal results may vary.
  • How much do I need?
We will discuss this during your consultation.
  • Do you use any anaesthetic?
A topical anaesthetic cream is used.
  • Is it permanent?
This treatment is not permanent, and to maintain your look, multiple sessions will be required. Results can last around 4-8 weeks
  • Is there anything I need to do afterwards?
We would recommend avoiding direct sunlight and tanning beds (and other tanning equipment) in the short-term, and follow our after-care instructions
  • Are there any side effects?
IPL hair removal is generally a safe practice. It is normal to feel sore afterwards, and experience some redness/swelling which can look like sunburn.
  • Can I go to work/go out afterwards?
There is no downtime, so you are free to carry on with your plans (following our after-care advice)
